Officials with the Nova Scotia Community College Strait Area Campus have held their 2019 convocation ceremony.
Over the course of the next few days, 80,000 Nova Scotians will open their mailboxes and find an envelope containing an invitation to participate in a survey like no other.
Many lives are about to change in Cape Breton, again. Nova Scotia Community College’s Marconi Campus will be celebrating the graduation of more than 550 students during two convocation ceremonies on Friday at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre. There will be two ceremonies, one at 10 a.m. and a second at 2 p.m.
The principal of the Nova Scotia Community CollegeStrait Area Campus says college officials are excited for construction to get underway on their new student residence.
June 13, 2019 has been a long time coming for the 280 graduating students of NSCC Pictou Campus. Convocation took place at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
“I graduated from high school in 2015 and, like many other teenagers, I had no idea what I wanted to do when I got older,” Brendan Stone said. ”
